Recently Team Signs ‘n Such participated in the 23rd Annual Ability Bowl, put on by the Swift Current Branch of the Sask Abilities Council.

This year’s theme was “Hollywood Bowl”.  Being the creative (and somewhat twisted) people we are, we made bowls filled with holly and wood, to wear on the top of our heads.

Bowling in these was a remarkable feat in itself!  Although we didn’t set any records for bowling, I am proud, and very humbled, to say that we did set a record for the amount of money raised by a team, and by an individual (your truly).

Thank you to all of our sponsors, over 300 individuals and businesses in total.  It is this kind of generous support that enables us to help out the Abilities Council in this very worthwhile cause.  We were, once again, able to have lots of fun, and raise lots of money.  The novelty bowl game was perhaps the most fun… even when you had to hold the hand of the bowler in front of you!

Congratulations to Kylea Russell, this year’s Ability Bowl co-ordinator, for a job well done.  We look forward to working with you next year.
