The Centennial Club… the first steps!

When I first started planning the Signs ‘n Such Centennial Club I started by researching colour.

After all, colour plays a major role here at Signs ‘n Such.  For those of you who know me you will know that Colour is my Life, but Purple is my passion!  Imagine my delight when I found  out that, although you can choose almost any colour to represent 100 years, the “unofficial” centennial colour is PURPLE!

After choosing a colour, the next logical step would be to develop some artwork… a graphic or symbol.  One of the first things that came to mind was the prairie grain elevator.  Although this is pretty much a thing of the past, the grain elevator was very much a focal point of any rural community, on the prairies.

So, there you have it, the beginnings of the Signs ‘n Such Centennial Club.

I’ll keep you posted as to how you can “Join the Club”.
