Comparing apples to oranges.
Most of you are probably familiar with this term.
When we quote a project we base it on the specs that were given to us. Sometimes we lose the job because of price. Then, when we see the finished product, we realize that the customer was comparing apples to oranges. They are disappointed, because they just considered the final price, and went with something that was not the same quality as what they were looking for. It’s really quite easy how to keep this from happening to you… simply compare “apples to apples”. That way, your final product will be what you asked for, and nothing less.
